On a God’s blessed land, a fancy guesthouse took place, ‘’The Squire’s Manor’’, at the end of 2015, arisen from an old attempt of ours to bring up to modern light places, traditions and local customs in Ponoarele.
The love for folklore and popular costumes mirrored the designing of this rustic guesthouse-boutique. One can find traditional symbols all over the place, brought form different regions of the country, which were highlighted both by hand-painting on the frontage, on the furniture, on the walls and sculpturing and fretsawing wood or stoneworking, in order to revival the old style of Brancoveanu’s era.
Each room is unique decorated, having traditional hand-painted motifs, from each region of the country. So, we can enjoy the chambers named by each region of the country they were inspired by: Oltenia, Bucovina, Dobrogea, Ponoarele, Flori de Liliac, Banat, Transilvania, Muntenia and Moldavia.
Tourists are expected to return here, to the same place, but still different because of the uniqueness of each room.
The desi-traditional style happily entwines with modern features of a luxurious mansion, so tourists can enjoy the comfort of a pleasant holiday on excellent conditions.
The tranquillity, the cosy atmosphere and the unique landscapes invite every of our guests to come back to the Manor.
